A professional artist since 1978, Pierre Duhamel lives and works on Montreal’s South Shore. He shares his technical mastery by teaching art to many students in several artistic interpretation centres in the Montréal region. A master of technical brilliance and with a talent that allows him to paint sublime landscapes, Duhamel has a weakness for typically Québec country scenes. His works sing of the beauty of nature and reflect a luminosity that takes the breath away. Duhamel is making a name for himself in Canada through his portfolio of unique works, full of poetry, transparency and sensitivity.

Duhamel’s works have appeared in more than 40 exhibitions since 1978. His works can be found in some of the most prestigious public and private collections in Canada.

Born in Montreal in 1946, he worked at Canadian National for 14 years until he discovered his love for painting. A self taught painter, he learns his craft and gets noticed by many in the art world. He settled down in St-Bruno in 1978 et left his mark as an artist and art teacher. As a figurative painter he thrills us with his technique and his colors and transports us in a world of softness and dreams…

Furthermore, in order to better his artistic knowledge, Pierre meets Alberto Buscio who teaches him the art of drawing. Duhamel was introduced as a member of the Institute of Figurative Arts (I.F.A.) and is an Honorary Member of A.A.P.A.R.S.
